Ambedkar Jayanti: A National Holiday

Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated every year on April 14th to honor the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion for social justice and equality. As a mark of respect, financial institutions including stock exchanges declare it as a trading holiday.
